Saturday 24th June 2017
Today was the big day for Milly and Rob.
I created the flowers for Milly's sister, Fiona, in 2013 and also for Rob's sister, Laura, last year (not that I knew that at the time!) so it was lovely to now be apart of their special day.
Milly opted for a white and pale blue colour theme, she didn't really have any preferences on which flowers just to include Hydrangea and Delphiniums.
Male Buttonholes
The Buttonholes were created with a white Rose and Eucalyptus. Groom Rob had a small amount of Delphinium added to his Rose to make him slightly different.

Bridesmaid Bouquets
Milly's three Bridesmaids carried a hand-tied bouquet created using a mixture of white flowers - Roses, Stocks, Dahlias and Hydrangea with pale blue Oxypetalum and Eucalyptus. She wanted them to only have a small amount of pale blue as their dresses were blue.

Brides bouquet
Milly carried a trailing hand-tied bouquet (the picture doesn't
do it justice!) of white flowers like the Bridesmaids and then more pale blue was added.
Milly and Rob were married at the Holy Trinity Church in Barrow-Upon-Soar.
Pale blue Hydrangea were attached to the end of the pews and finished with a lace bow.

Pedestal near Altar
A Pedestal of whites and pale blues was placed at the front of the Church near to where the couple were married.
Pedestal at entrance
One was also placed near the door to welcome guests as they entered the Church.
Bay Trees outside entrance
Our artificial Bay Trees were hired and placed outside the Church entrance. Artificial blue Hydrangea was added amongst the tree to match the theme.
The reception venue was at the Brides parents home in Barrow-Upon-Soar, they had a lovely airy marquee in their garden.
Milly collected vases herself and filled them with various twigs, we added pale blue Delphiniums to bring in some colour.
I think they looked perfect.
A huge congratulations to Milly and Rob on their special day, thank you for asking us to be apart of it.
